What We Do

Senior Sight Font

"Senior Sight" is a font that has been carefully crafted with a deep sense of purpose, born from a personal connection to the challenges faced by the elderly. The process began with extensive research into the fonts commonly in use today, recognizing the potential difficulties they pose for individuals already struggling with visual impairments. I sought to understand which design elements in existing fonts might hinder legibility. As I delved deeper into this inquiry, it became evident that a font created with the specific needs of seniors in mind was sorely lacking.

To infuse a deeply personal touch, I took it upon myself to handwrite each letter of the alphabet. My own handwriting became the foundation for "Senior Sight," ensuring that every character was created with care and consideration. This approach allowed me to incorporate the research findings directly into the design, prioritizing elements that would enhance readability for seniors. The driving force behind my font creation was my beloved grandmother, who, like many others, suffers from vision impairment. Witnessing her struggle to read text on her phone and other devices became the motivation for this venture. "Senior Sight" is a heartfelt response to her daily challenges and a dedication to the well-being of countless seniors who deserve greater ease and accessibility in their everyday reading experiences.
